Job Description

Part-Time Accounting Specialist

 Do you have 1-3 years of Accounting experience and looking for a Part-Time 15- 20 hours a week Accounting position?  For over 55 years First Pacific Corporation (FPC) provides financial and practice management solutions to the dental industry across the US.   Specializing in one-of-a-kind services to dental clinics, First Pacific helps improve efficiency and realize significant revenue growth through practice management and consulting. We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Accounting Specialist in our Salem office.

Job Requirements

Specific Job Skills and Responsibilities

·         Reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis

·         Manage various banking transactions

·         Maintain and file various government reports, i.e. state and local annual reports and property tax returns for multiple states

·         Forms inventory tracking, including monitoring usage, counting inventory and recording activity

  • Back up Accounts Payable to include processing client/patient refunds, maintain wire fund transfer system, preparation of coding of invoices for payment and research problems and reissue checks
  • Strong attention to detail with high degree of accuracy
  • Proficient with MS Office Programs with expert proficiency in Excel
  • Must possess a high degree of confidentiality based on exposure to Company financial activities
  • Flexible work schedule to accommodate part-time schedule

 

Education and/or Experience
Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 1-3 years accounting experience.
