MEMBER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE/TELLER

Provides excellent and quality member service. Conducts financial transactions between members and Credit Union, handle routine member inquires and problems as well maintain favorable member and employee relations by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Comply with all Credit Union policies and procedures.
Receive and process account transactions.
Verify and balance assigned cash drawer daily.
Issue official checks and money orders.
Place proper hold on checks as needed.
Assist members with transaction history, regarding Direct Deposits, checks written, non-sufficient funds checks, ACH withdrawals, ATM/Debit Cards transactions.
Complete necessary forms.
Prepare necessary forms for proper completion of Bank Secrecy Act requirements, (CTR’s). Includes obtaining appropriate documentation from member.
Have ability to identify member’s financial service needs and cross-sell products to meet those needs.
Exercise discretion, judgment, and initiative regarding transaction problems and inquires.
Opening new accounts.
Understanding of regulatory compliance.

Education and/or Experience:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of two years related experience.
- Able to lift or carry 25 pounds.
- Sitting for a long period of times using the computer.
- Occasional bending and stooping.
