Job Description

Position​ ​Overview:
Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition, the Corporate Recruiter will be a key contributor to building a talent pipeline for corporate positions, globally. The successful candidate will work from their home office. The Corporate Recruiter is responsible for seeking out and contacting potential employees, utilizing their superior sourcing skills, networking, and excellent interpersonal skills, to attract and recruit top talent into TELUS International enterprise-wide. The Corporate Recruiter must have the ability to strategically drive the TELUS Brand in the pursuit of identifying new talent.
The ideal candidate will possess a solid and successful experience within an executive Corporate
Recruiter role within a BPO/call center environment. This professional individual will employ a partnering approach to building successful candidate pipelines and will be responsible for developing, managing and executing strategies required to successfully fill all corporate related jobs within expected timelines and SLA’s.

Responsibilities:
  • Creating robust search strategies to identify and attract the best and brightest talent across functional areas ie: Operations, Business Development, HR, Client Services, IT etc.
  • Developing innovative ways to raise the bar on how find the best talent
  • Calibrating candidates with hiring managers, interview committee and/or senior leadership
  • Developing prospects into candidates, engaging them and performing assessment/vetting process
  • Conducting remote interviews and participating in candidate debriefs, reference checks and presenting/negotiating employment offers
  • Providing strategic guidance and advice in a true partnership with executive leadership
  • Identify, utilize and track recruitment and advertising sources and methods
  • Educate and provide training as needed for managers on the recruitment process and collaborate based on individual needs
  • Build positive, credible relationships with managers
  • Assist with onboarding and hand off to HR and hiring manager
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Qualifications​ ​and​ ​Requirements:
  • 5+ years of Corporate Recruiting experience with demonstrated successful experience in a BPO/call center environment is a must
  • Excellent track record of high volume corporate recruiting in a fast paced environment
  • Global recruiting is a plus
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and tracking recruitment metrics
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment, prioritize, follow-up and follow through
  • Exhibits excellent judgment and has relentlessly high standards
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Metrics oriented – knows how to organize activities, measure results
  • Performance Driven - focus on continuous improvement and learning
  • Creative
  • Strong knowledge of online recruitment methods and social media
  • Provides superior client service
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
