Hamilton Connections of East Hartford, CT is seeking an Office Administrator. 

Position: Office Administrator

Hrs: 8-4:30 M-F

Pay rate: $17

Dress: Business Casual


General Duties: Responsible for office administration.

Specific Duties:

     Responsible for Accounts Receivable (AR).  

-     Order Entry into QuickBooks from POs and input from Officers

-     Fill out PODs as required

-     Receive completed PODs and create invoices

-     Verification of resale certificate status

-     Make Certain Credit Card Security is maintained

     No electronic storage of Credit card info

     Paper copies of credit card receipts when disposed of are shredded.

     Does not use e-mail to send or receive credit card info

-     Customer support

-     Day to day contact

-     Responsible to make collection calls and record progress in customer notes

      as directed by VP.

     Responsible for Accounts Payable (AP)

-     Enter bills into QuickBooks

-     Process checks from managers to Vendors

-     Keep tract of discounts

-     Obtain insurance certificates from vendors that perform work here


     Office Administration

-     Order stationary supplies

-     Receptionist/greetings  

-     Answer Telephones & filing
