Job Description


Customer Service Agent- Minnesota


Equity Staffing Group is currently partnering with a large insurance organization in the West Metro area to help staff several Customer Service Agents.  This role is a phone support role taking about 40-50 inbound calls per day from incoming customers who need assistance with open enrollment, billing, explanation of benefits, and interpreting contracts. Our partner is looking for individuals that have the desire to grow and advance within the organization and are looking to build a career. Interviews start next week and decisions should be made by end of week.


Regular Hours of Operation: 8:00AM – 6:00PM

Training: Hours are 8:00AM - 5:00PM for the first 4 (attendance is mandatory)

Hourly Rate: $16.00


Requirements:

1+ year of Customer Service experience (preferably, but limited to phone/Call Center work)

Ability to handle high call volumes

Ability to type at least 40 WPM

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, etc.)

Ability to handle difficult customers

Ability to toggle between multiple application, internet, and intranet

Outstanding attendance history in previous roles

Can think critically, show empathy, problem solve, and deescalate calls

Team player

High School Diploma/GED


Preferred, but not required:

Insurance experience

Call Center experience

Bachelor’s/Associate’s Degree
