Job Summary

As Information Technology Program Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and solving business challenges through technical solutions.  This position will be responsible for management of the existing technology team, oversight of vendor relationships, and project management of major IT initiatives. You will exercise a breadth encompassing both operational aspects of the technology environment and project objectives for our company.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage onsite team of IT professionals
  • Collaborate with business leaders and serve as technical lead for the planning, design, and execution of projects to enable the achievement of business objectives
  • Provides guidance and direction to team on system development, software evaluations, business process design, and enhancement of existing systems
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand the business capabilities, capture and prioritize demand, and lead cross-functional project teams that will design, deliver and support IT services
  • Lead the training, coaching and development of team members and management of 3rd party vendors
  • Implement best practices and act as a strategic advisor to drive innovation and continuous improvement
  • Manage and monitor business application installation and support packaged applications and in-house developed solutions
  • Regularly measure customer satisfaction and identifying/implementing steps to improve satisfaction levels
  • Ability to travel up to 15% for new office set-up

Job Requirements

Education and Work Experience

  • Minimum Education:  Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field
  • 5+ years of experience developing, implementing, or supporting business critical solutions with 2+ years in management role
  • Strong working knowledge of Linux and .Net framework
  • Demonstrated success at leading solutions to solve business challenges; ability to influence the opinions of business and IT team members
  • History of developing a high performing team: building trust, delivering feedback/coaching, setting expectations and holding others accountable
  • Knowledge of system design, development, implementation, and user support principles and practices
  • Broad knowledge of and experience with various business applications, proprietary software development, and cloud services
  • Experience managing application databases, application integrations, and basic coding
  • Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
  • Excellent leadership, customer services, project delivery, and presentation skills

Knowledge and Skills

Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.   Exceptional interpersonal, oral and written communication skills are a must. A strong commitment to a team culture and positive attitude is required.  Preferred exposure to the following:

  • Command line Linux (Ubuntu)
  • Azure cloud services 
  • PHP code
  • Perl code
  • Python code (limited use)
