Job Description

TalentTeam is searching for an Outside Salesperson to promote and sell our services to businesses in Salt Lake City and the Utah County areas.  This is a full time and permanent business to business outside sales position.  TalentTeam employees receive medical insurance and retirement benefits.  

TalentTeam is locally owned and has been serving Salt Lake City area businesses for 40 years.  We believe in rewarding strong performers with further challenges and more money. Our salespeople work with business managers and executive leadership on strategic programs designed to provide the very highest quality staff and human resources services.  These business to business sellers create client relationships with local businesses and manage them forward.  Often successful sales efforts would be considered a ‘challenger sale’, the right candidate will feel comfortable within this environment. The position's primary focus is on creating and nurturing markets for human resources outsource services.  Routine activities include prospecting, pipeline development, targeted sales proposals, sales presentations, and business to business sales (cold) calls intended to maintain relationships and widen organizational opportunities. We also maintain an internet based CRM system and coordinate client activities with internal operations professionals. Compensation includes base salary, commission and auto allowance. No travel outside of the Salt Lake City / Utah County area is required

Job Requirements

The successful applicant for the Outside Salesperson position will demonstrate a desire to work hard, unquestionable standards of honesty and integrity, a creative and fun-loving demeanor, high energy levels, a desire to make money, and high motivation to succeed. Additional requirements include: 

  • A history of successful business to business sales experience. 
  • Strong understanding of MS Office Suite programs. 
  • Ability to establish and meet growing sales quotas. 
  • Capacity to productively work with people from many backgrounds and viewpoints. 
  • Willingness to follow procedure and document detail of important strategic processes. 
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

 

Base compensation is dependent upon experience and qualifications.  Appropriate compensation packages are available for applicants with senior level experience and ability.  Applications are welcomed from sellers with business to business sales experience levels from 1 year and beyond.
