The Customer Service Rep will work with customers handle customer account information with accuracy and confidentiality
Answers incoming calls on a three line phone system.
Will be responsible for posting and balancing daily customer payments Managing Work Orders
Managing all process with timeliness, discipline and reliability
Responsible for accepting documents and forms
Assist in managing inventory in the billing system
Auditing customer files for accuracy
Upkeep and reliability with physical and digital filing systems
Contacts other utilities to request marking or repair as required by maintenance activities
Maintains contact with field maintenance personnel via radio or telephone to relay information and dispatch maintenance requests, flow tests, meter reads, etc.
Performs some general office duties such as word processing, cleaning and filing
Receives, logs, and dispatches waterline marking requests as required by Utilities Protections Service Reporting
Runs billing reports and other reports as necessary as required in close out process
Preparing Weekly Deposit Report
Managing Permit invoices with the State/ County
Back up for Processor with some of the tasks
Performs other related duties as required
High school diploma or GED
Minimum two years of office clerical experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Office, Excel) and Adobe Editor
Possess a valid driver’s license
Minimum typing speed of fifty (50) words per minute
Reading comprehension and ability to perform arithmetic computations Attention to detail and ability to follow directions
Must be able to use a telephone and communicate
