Job Description

Responsible for managing day to day access control and activities for PeopleSoft applications, with an emphasis in the areas of role development, maintenance, testing, documentation and production support; and coordinating activities with multiple institutions to meet compliance with established policies and procedures. 

Essential Functions 

Function 1: 
Ability to define, configure, and administer PeopleSoft access control across multiple instances (development, test, production, etc.) and applications [Enterprise Portal, HCM, EPM, FMS, Campus Solutions, and/or CRM] which includes interacting and working closely with multiple teams to implement access control roles and permissions. 

Function 2: 
Ability to configure/develop security objects that adhere to Oracle/PeopleSoft/System development standards and best practices, and ability to document the security infrastructure so that it may be interpreted, maintained and enhanced while providing documentation for internal/external audits. 

Function 3: 
Apply knowledge of PeopleSoft security delivered functionality (User Profiles, Roles, Permission List, Portal Security, Sync, etc.) to maximize features and functionality in support of identified customer requirements. Ability to make recommendations to improve, streamline and automate PeopleSoft access control; 

Function 4: 
Respond to, and troubleshoot, reported problems pertaining to the PeopleSoft applications access control and integrity. Identify the cause, design or develop an approach for resolution. Upon approval, implement the correction to meet user specific needs. 

Function 5: 
Perform impact analysis on all PeopleSoft applications and PeopleTools updates, and provide impact analysis and remediation. 

Other functions as assigned. 


Job Requirements

Required Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field. 7+ years of systems analysis, design, and software support, and application security in a combination of: 4+ years of PeopleSoft Applications access control / security administration experience (specifically in HCM, FMS, Campus Solutions, and/or Enterprise Portal); 2+ years experience with PeopleTools 8.48 +; 2+ years experience with relational databases. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field. Certifications in supported technologies. Use of Quest STAT for version control/change management. Experience with configuring PeopleSoft Single Sign-On (SSO) and/or LDAP. Experience configuring integration broker. Excellent organization, teamwork, problem-solving, and communication (verbal and written) skills. Strong understanding of all phases of the application development life-cycle and project management disciplines. Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel). Ability to work well with people in all levels of the organization.
