Psychologist – Lead Clinician

Penndel Mental Health Center is a non-profit community based mental health agency located in Bucks County.

Job Description:

The Psychologist - Lead Clinician position entails both the provision of direct therapy services in an Outpatient setting as well as the oversight of the graduate student training program at Penndel Mental Health Center (PMHC). Direct service duties may include psychological assessment, treatment planning, provision of individual and group therapy, crisis management and coordination of care. The Psychologist – Lead Clinician’s non-direct service responsibilities include coordinating student training experiences with PMHC management and support staff as well as discussing program development options. The Psychologist – Lead Clinician also serves as a liaison with local psychology graduate training programs, oversees student trainee applications, conducts applicant interviews, orients students to the training program, oversees the clinical training, reviews all student documentation, provides individual and group supervision to student trainees, evaluates student performance and coordinates student didactics.

Maintain clinical records in accordance with Agency and regulatory standards; complete all paperwork in a timely and thorough manner.

Psychologist – Lead Clinician

Job Requirements:

  • Applicants must possess a doctoral degree in psychology to be eligible for this position.
  • Applicants must possess a license to practice psychology in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Any applicant accepted for the position must be able to complete all background checks required by Human Resources.
