Financial Administrative Coordinator

Our client, a financial institution located in Bridgeton, is seeking a financial administrative coordinator to join their team! The candidate in this role will be assisting and working with the investment team in the daily sales of investment products to clients, and handling all administrative/clerical duties for the department.

Job Duties:

  • Receive incoming calls from clients, branch staff, and investment companies
  • Make outbound calls to existing clients
  • Schedule appointments and maintain advisor schedules
  • Handle ongoing servicing for client accounts
  • Assist advisors in preparing for client meetings and sales
  • Establish new client accounts and maintain current client files and records
  • Maintain various spreadsheets and prepare reports as requested
  • Keep up to date on investment products and industry trends and changes

This is a full-time opportunity, working from 8: 00 am - 5: 00 pm Monday - Friday. During the temporary period, the position pays between $12 - $13/hr but could increase to up to $14.40/hr if a permanent offer is made. To be considered for the permanent role, the candidate must have or be able to obtain a life insurance, Series 7 and Series 66 license. 


Requirements:
  • 2-4 years prior experience in an office support or administrative role required
  • Familiarity with MS Word and Excel required
  • 1-3 years prior experience in the investment or related industry highly preferred
  • Life insurance license is preferred - if not already held, candidate must be willing to obtain life insurance if a permanent offer is extended
  • Strong customer service skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced environment
  • Strong data entry (alpha-numeric and 10-key) skills
  • Stable work history
