Automotive Fleet Sales

SPORT DURST CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM is looking for motivated sales entrepreneurs that want to build an automotive fleet sales operation from the ground up.  Our future vision is to have this become a stand-alone operation with this position at the helm.  To get there will take a plan, hard work and constant measurable activity.  We compensate effort and results so both earning potential and career growth opportunities are unlimited.

Job Function

We are firm believers in the saying, "success follows activity" so the focus of this position is as follows:

  • Create and adhere to business plan that is focused on volume growth and ROI
  • Make outside contacts with decision makers (email, phone and face-to-face)
  • Formulate a clear follow up strategy that maximizes sales success and give managers visibility into next steps
  • Handle the sale from start to finish including accessories, finance, insurance and maintenance products
  • Participate and manage association and trade show events
  • Educate retail staff about commercial best practices and programs
  • Execute commercially focused marketing plan within dealership-provided budget
  • Learn and adhere to dealership and manufacturer processes
  • Complete required Commercial Certification and continue with self-guided training as needed

Skills and Attributes Required

  • Must be skilled in prospecting and networking
  • Must be able to create and present analytical solutions
  • Must be resilient and accept short term rejection to earn long term relationships
  • Must have an entrepreneurial spirit and be a self-starter that doesn't wait to be told what to do
  • Must have proficient computer skills but higher level competency is desired 
  • Must be a skilled time manager with high attention to detail
  • Must be passionate about helping small businesses and the Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Ram products 
  • Must be teachable and open to constructive feedback
  • Must be able to forge strong internal relationships with team members and have the ability to "manage up" internally
  • Must have previous outside sales success (minimum two years)
  • Previous automotive experience is highly preferred.
