Human Resources Coordinator

A law firm located in downtown St. Louis is in need of a temporary HR Coordinator to join their team! This is a full-time opportunity, working from 8: 30 am - 5: 00 pm, Monday through Friday. This position is slated to start mid-September, and will last through February 2018. Pay for this opportunity is $14 - $18 per hour, depending on background and experience. The ideal candidate in this role will have experience in recruiting and on-boarding, but additional HR experience is a huge plus!

Job Duties:

  • Review resumes and forward qualified applicants to hiring manager for review
  • Conduct phone interviews & in-person interviews with applicants
  • Reach out to applicants to extend offers if selected for position
  • Conduct new hire orientation, including reviewing employee benefits and the employee handbook
  • Verify all necessary paperwork is completed and on file
  • Conduct exit interviews as necessary
  • Provide support for other HR departments, such as payroll, employee relations, etc.


Requirements:
  • 1 - 3 years previous recruiting experience required
  • Prior experience performing other HR related duties highly preferred
  • Ability to commit to a long-term, temporary project
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • A personable and friendly demeanor
  • Stable work history
