Job Description:

Medix creates opportunities for contract employees through our Healthcare, Scientific, and IT divisions. We are seeking Insurance Verification to work for our large healthcare company in the Phoenix, AZ.

Job Responsibilities

Other responsibilities of the Insurance Verification role include:

·         Contacting customers by phone to reconcile account balances.

·         Retrieving copies of invoices to send via fax or mail for account resolution.

·         Documenting client communications in the receivables systems.

·         Processing payments and following up on promised payments.

·         Identifying, communicating and escalating issues to management or appropriate leader.

Job Requirements

As an Insurance Verification, you must have a calm focus and the ability to multitask in sometimes challenging and busy circumstances. We are looking for someone who is mature, confident, and flexible with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. This position requires an individual who works quickly and goes beyond the call of duty.

Other requirements of the Insurance Verification role include:

·         Experience using Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel.

·         Technical proficiency in working in multiple systems and softwares simultaneously.

·         Experience in customer service and a high volume environment.

·         Strong written, and verbal communication.
