Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Service Manager to join our major franchise dealership group.

Job Duties for a Service Manager

  • Responsible for all operations within the service department, from hiring and managing technicians and service advisors, to customer service.
  • Be the leader that grows the department in both abilities and sales.
  • Motivate Technicians to complete jobs correctly and turn hours.
  • Prepare and submit warranty claims
  • Present to and sell customers their automotive maintenance/repair needs. 
  • Working with Training and scheduling Technicians to find needed service work on vehicles.
  • Growing Customer base and Service sales
  • Working with others to draw more customers and work to our dealership
  • Organize department to be more efficient and profitable
  • Raise Customer Satisfaction

Job Requirements

  • Ability to show customers their automotive maintenance/repair needs and train that ability to advisors and technicians. 
  • Experience as a Service Manager in a dealership setting is highly preferred 
  • Technical Automotive Knowledge and diagnosis skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage others
  • Organizational skills
  • Professional Appearance and Hygiene.
  • Friendly personality that will drive high Customer Satisfaction
