● Primarily taking ongoing calls from providers and researching through various applications and maneuvering job aids.
● Listening skills are big and not being quick to jump to answers without truly understanding what is happening so there are no gaps that would cause a follow up call.
● Need to be very analytical and detail oriented.
● Looking for someone with previous insurance background, working in providers office or another company, critical thinking skills, ability to solve complex issues, understand how we are seeing the claim process and answer providers questions based on the plan.
● Strong communication skills.
● Dealing strictly with providers so professionalism is a must.
● Need to be patient and able to effectively communicate.
● Would overlap with appeals & medical review departments.
● Would be trained on where to send the claims.
