We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager- Fabless Accounts for a work from home position.

The Strategic Marketing organization works with companies in the semiconductor value chain to understand the market challenges, scouts for new technologies, and works with our Research and Development teams to deliver new solutions to our customers. 

The Business Development Manager will provide business development support for our Fabless Accounts as well as other parties in the semiconductor value chain. They will be the primary strategic contact for this customer base.  The position is responsible for developing account strategies, supporting tactical implementation of the marketing plan, and the execution of product initiatives. 


Job Requirements

Who you are: The candidate will possess a high level of competence and success with field based sales activity including on-site seminars, tradeshow activities, and face-to-face customer interactions when assigned. Also, an extensive understanding of the semiconductor manufacturing customer base as well as an exceptional understanding of the selling process and customer dynamics.  Direct sales and marketing experience are highly desirable.

The candidate should have experience generating and executing promotional plans and a proven ability to communicate with customers, both internally and externally, at many different levels of an organization.

  • Education: B.S. in a chemistry, material science, electrical or other engineering/science discipline is required.  Advanced degree such as MBA or demonstrated course work towards an advanced degree a significant plus.
  • 5+ years’ experience in the silicon semiconductor industry as either a supplier to or maker/designer of semiconductor chips.
  • 5+ years’ experience in marketing, tactical marketing, sales, or some combination thereof.
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal. Fluency in English essential, other languages would be a distinct advantage.
  • Normal office conditions, able to travel worldwide (30% of time)
  • Self-Motivated
