MCNA Dental, a leading dental benefits management company located in Ft. Lauderdale is seeking Claims Examiners. The candidates will complete and oversee a variety of professional assignments to manage a caseload of dental benefits claims by reviewing new claims to determine their validity, ascertaining proper filings, identifying the need for further investigations and following claims through adjudication or settlement.
Review and process claims all dental claim types in the assigned queue in date
Refer claims requiring dental review to the Dental Director and follow up to ensure timely processing
Approve or deny payment of all claim types claims within the requirements of MCNA and state guidelines
Adhere to all corporate and departmental policies and procedures.
High School Diploma or GED required
Previous medical or dental claims processing experience in an insurance company is required
Dental Coding experience - preferred
Experience in a managed care or dental organization preferred
