C Squared Systems, LLC (C2 Systems) is an RF engineering, consulting, and software development company specializing in providing services for seamless wireless coverage from RF analysis to design and implementation of DAS systems and Wi-Fi networks to remote monitoring and management of complex multi-vendor environments. Site Portal®, a customizable Web-based software, was engineered by C2 Systems to remotely monitor and manage these complex multi-vendor environments.

Since 1999, C2 Systems has executed turnkey in-building wireless solutions using state-of-the-art analysis tools to deliver RF solutions that exceed project scope and customer expectations. Our experience, technical expertise, and diverse projects in the wireless realm have allowed C2 Systems to continually evolve as new technologies are developed and the demands of our customers change.

We are currently seeking a new or recent graduate for an Entry Level Wireless LAN/Wi-Fi Engineer position to join our team. C Squared Systems is a leader in the RF Engineering field, working with the biggest names in the industry. Our continued growth allows us to provide challenging opportunities and responsibilities to our employees. This position includes Wireless LAN system design, hands on system testing, and Wireless LAN system activations.

Responsibilities of Network/Wireless LAN Engineer Includes:

  • Travel to customer facilities to perform Wireless LAN surveys, installations and system activations

  • Evaluation and optimization of Wireless LAN systems using RF prediction and Wireless LAN data collection tools.

  • Diagnosing and Solving difficult network performance/connectivity problems

  • Development of presentation material and reports using propagation and mapping tools

Job Requirements

  • Completion of a four (4) year Bachelor of Science program in Network Engineering, Computer Science or Equivalent Information Technology program is required.

  • Experience or familiarity with computer networking is required.

  • Knowledge of IEEE 802.11 Standards

  • Knowledge or familiarity of basic network infrastructure and designs of 802.11 wireless networks

  • Experience with High Level Scripting Languages such as Python

  • Very strong computer skills required.

  • Strong Troubleshooting and Problem Solving Skills.

  • Good oral and written communication skills.

  • Self-Motivated and have the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision

  • Ability to learn quickly and understand technical materials.

  • Cisco or Aruba Wireless Certifications are preferred but not required.

  • Experience or familiarity with RF Theory is desirable.

  • The ability to travel domestically with no travel restrictions.

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with no restrictions.  


Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position needs to move about large facilities to perform site surveys and installations including ascending and descending stairs and other elevation changes.

  • Regularly needs to ascend/descend a ladder to perform equipment installations.

  • Frequently moves equipment weighing up to 50 pounds across facilities during equipment installations.

  • Constantly works in both indoor and outdoor conditions.
