HR Coordinator/Recruiter
 




Summary:

The HR Coordinator/Recruiter will act in a professional capacity to achieve recruitment goals and assist in other Human Resource functions. The qualified candidate will be responsible for partnering with our HR representatives to learn and grow in the field of HR, while focusing on recruitment. Our ideal candidate has the capacity to identify and develop new solutions which can help drive efficiencies (for recruiting and other measures) for our HR team. 



Responsibilities:

  1. Identify, develop, implement, evaluate, measure, and improve the recruiting process for non-exempt and exempt positions
  2. Liaise and establish effective working relationships with hiring managers to understand all key job functions and qualifications required for each position 
  3. Ensure all required paperwork are submitted from candidates 
  4. Source candidates passively and actively on external, internal and industry-specific job boards
  5. Pre-screen candidates to determine if they meet the minimum qualifications for the position and keep active pools 
  6. Conduct and schedule interviews (both over the phone and in-person), orient new employees, conduct exit interviews
  7. Ensure performance review process is conducted through the initial twelve-month period for all full time positions
  8. Process new hire and termination paperwork; Process and maintain HRIS records 
  9. Ensure that personnel files and records are maintained in accordance with legal requirements and agency policies and procedures 
  10. Assist HR team with projects and assignments 




Job Requirements

Education and or Experience:


  1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution 
  2. Valid driver's license 
  3. Excellent customer interaction style to all levels of the organization, including exceptional interpersonal and communication skills 
  4. Proven track record of innovative and creative methods to recruit targeted workforce that resulted in turnover reduction 
  5. Ability to multi-task, analyze and resolve problems at both a strategic and functional level 
  6. Proven knowledge of laws surrounding the interview process 
  7. Sound understanding of practices and procedures specific to Human Resources 
  8. Proficiency in MS Office Suite; HRIS experience preferred
