Job Description

Front Office Receptionist with Phone & Scheduling Experience 
Miracle Ear – Ardmore, PA

Miracle ear has been in business for over 60 years. We are a strong growing company. One of the most recognized Brands in the industry. We have an immediate need for a Front Office Assistant in our Ardmore and Paoli stores. As a front office assistant you are the first point of contact with the Miracle Ear customers. Because of this, it is crucial that all employees demonstrate professionalism by using a patient-centered approach of building trust, meeting needs, and delivering relevant solutions. In addition to providing smooth service and transitions for the customer, this position supports the sales staff by scheduling appointments and handling administrative processing and record keeping. Customer retention and prospecting calls are also an essential daily function of this position. This position is Ideal for someone with heavy phone experience with a script and scheduling appointments

Compensation & Benefits

The success of the office is completely dependent on the effectiveness of this position. As a result, the amount of effort you give is directly related to the amount of money you can receive.
Compensation: Hourly range is $10-$13 per hour, based upon experience. We offer 401k, paid vacation time, medical, dental, and vision benefits available after 90 days.

Job Requirements

-Strong phone skills, preferably call center experience or in a telemarketing environment
-Must have strong computer skills: Internet, MS word, excel, using email and fax
-Preferred experience with computerized scheduling
-Must be able to follow dress code, professional business attire
-Must be able to follow a script while scheduling appointments

-Scheduling appointments for several satellite offices with a varying schedule
-Multi-task in a busy environment
-Creating patient files, pulling patient files, updating files, and assisting patients with paperwork completion
-Handling heavy inbound calls using a script
-Updating computer data
-Pulling quarterly reports
-Knowledge of completing insurance claims
-Strong communication skills with management as well as office associates is a MUST
-Must be pleasant, professional and have an articulate phone voice
-Exceptional organization skills
-Flexibility in an office environment

Most important requirement: 
Must be able to handle heavy inbound calls from Ads placed in Newspapers and Direct Mail.
Must be able to follow-script and schedule appointments for satellite offices.

This position is Full Time, Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm.  With one late evening per week.

The selected candidate will be a liaison between our hearing specialists and our patients and as such, they are responsible for assisting the patients and making their visit to the office seamless.
In addition, the selected candidate responsible for taking 90% of our inbound marketing calls, so strong phone skills are a must.
Our patients are elderly and you must be empathetic as well as experience in a sales environment with a sense of urgency.
