Position Overview

Position Overview Our client is seeking to fill several Customer Care Associate Positions located at their Call Center located in Gas City, Indiana. These are full-time, contract position; availability for overtime is required. Hours: Five (5) days a week Monday through Friday; eight (8) hour shifts; These positions will interview ASAP and will start immediately .

 PURPOSE OF POSITION :

This position requires basic knowledge of EPC and TANF practices and procedures.

The Customer Care Assistant will research EBT/ EPC or Treasury questions received from customers and clients, and provide appropriate and accurate information over the telephone.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Defines or resolves inquiries received either through written or telephone correspondence.
  • Answers questions regarding child support payments posting, payments disbursement, and account histories.
  • Provides requested information.
  • Maintains updated records and logs.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

MUST HAVE EXCELLENT COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE, TYPING SKILLS, AND DATA ENTRY KEYSTROKES; PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU LIST THIS EXPERIENCE ON YOUR RESUME!!

Pay will be $10.00/hr. plus a monthly bonus program that is easily attainable!!!

Job Requirements

EDUCATION/SKILL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma or GED.A minimum of 1 year experience in telephone customer service. Knowledge of the use of PCs and related software. Must pass PC Knowledge Test.Ability to navigate Internet Explorer and using multiple sessions. Experience in data entry (alpha and numeric) or with a 10-key calculator with minimal error ratio.Typing skills must be above 25 wpm. Excellent communication skills. Ability to handle highly stressful situations with professionalism and excellent quality.

 PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Position requires sitting for long periods of time and considerable handling of paperwork, telephones, as well as keyboarding requiring repetitive motions with fingers.
