Candidate Responsibilities
The Program Coordinator works hand in hand with the Project Manager(s). The Coordinator’s focus is on applying disciplined Project Management processes, techniques and tools (chartering, building and maintaining schedule in Primavera, providing analyis of sproject schedule, making recommendations, and communicating project status). An experienced project management professional committed to delivering programs on-time and within budget by improving the effectiveness of project teams through the application of professionally accepted project management methodology, techniques, and tools. Candidate may support 2-4 medium to large or several smaller projects.

Typical Day
Varies over 2 week update cycle, typically, 40-70% of time in meetings with Project Managers, teams, and/or resources (Team Members). Rest of time is spent updating project schedule, analysis, and communication. In the Initiation and Planning phases of a project, the coordinator will facilitate planning sessions to identify the projects Work Breakdown Structure and appropriate activities to develop the plan. During project Execution, Monitor and Control, the coordinator will lead Control meetings to ensure the project stays on schedule and meets target dates. 

Education Requirements:
4 year college or university degree, preferably in Engineering, IT, or Business.

Technical Skills
Competent in Primavera (preferred) or MS Project and MS Office (Excel/Word/Powerpoint). Knowledge of disciplined Project Management (PMI). 3-5 years of job-related experience in program management.

Soft Skills
Strong interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills. Strong meeting facilitation skills. Ability to influence others without having authority
