Job Description

Work alongside project managers to help guide their teams on a path to completed product. Facilitate communication within a project team and across other departments, and also serve as liaisons between the project manager and other team members and perform important functions like updating timetables, schedules, and progress reports


Job Summary

This position reports to the Engineering Supervisor. The ideal candidate ability to decide course of action to take, considering the circumstances or conditions encountered. Experience using computer and automation systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).


  • Accident prevention – correct and/or report any unsafe working conditions before they result in an accident.

  • Identify and implement efficiency improvements, cost reductions and profit improvement initiatives.
  • Prepares rough sketches by studying engineering specifications; creating a picture of the system, components, and parts.

  • Sort and file documentation, distributes project and updates scheduled progress reports are collected in a timely manner

  • Prepares final drawings by studying engineering sketches, specifications, and supporting documents; developing a layout of the system, components, and parts; drawing multiple views of the system, components, and parts; depicting relationship of components and parts; identifying dimensions, angles, curvatures, tolerances, and materials.

  • Identifies and verifies specifications by examining engineering documents.

  • Modifies drawings by studying changes; redrawing system, components, and parts; changing identifications.

  • Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information; conferring with engineers.

  • Maintains data base by entering data; completing backups.

  • Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reading technical publications.

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Job Requirements

Skills/Qualifications: Education: Associate and/or Bachelor's Degree a plus but not required.  Proficient with AutoCad, and experience with 3D Modelling Software.
