Job Description  
Would you like to make difference in the lives of Orange County’s most vulnerable children? As a non-profit organization, Orange County Head Start, Inc. (OCHS) is dedicated to providing thousands of at-risk children, ages birth to five, and their families, with quality child development, school readiness programs and comprehensive health and social support services.  
  
We are seeking qualified staff to join our Head Start and Early Head Start team in the following positions: Early Head Start Teacher.

Early Head Start Teacher

     
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development or a related field, CA Child Development Teacher Permit and a minimum of three (3) of infant/toddler units. Prior experience teaching in a preschool classroom required: $22.09/hr
  • Associate’s Degree in Child Development or a related field, CA Child Development Teacher Permit and a minimum of three (3) infant/toddler units. Prior experience teaching in a preschool classroom required: $20.04/hr
  • A Minimum of a CA Child Development Teacher’s Permit and a minimum of three (3) infant/toddler units: $17.98/hr
  • English required, bilingual with oral and written fluency in Spanish, Vietnamese, Korean, or Cambodian is preferred and may be required as a result of community and workforce composition
