We have immediate need for Bookkeepers in the Greater Dayton area! Do you have experience? Are you ready to start immediately?
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE BOOKKEEPER ROLE:
- Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
- Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger and general ledger
- Bring the books to the trial balance stage
- Perform partial checks of the posting process
- Complete tax forms
- Enter data, maintain records and financial statements
- The Bookkeeper will process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE BOOKKEEPER ROLE:
- 2+ years bookkeeping experience
- Attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- EXCEL experience
- No specific software but willingness to learn
