Outpatient Therapist – Mental Health/ Substance Use

Intercommunity Action, Inc. is seeking Licensed (or License eligible) Clinicians to provide outpatient counseling to adults in a community mental health setting in NW Philadelphia. This position requires experience working with adult clients with substance use and mental health disorders. We offer part-time contractor positions with flexible daytime and evening hours, competitive compensation, individual and group supervision, free evidenced-based treatment training opportunities, and plenty of support. Sensitive to trauma-informed treatment approaches is desirable. We incorporate and strive towards Sanctuary Model practices in all of our programs. 



Job Requirements


Outpatient Therapist – Mental Health/ Substance Use


The most suitable candidate will have the skill, knowledge, understanding to cover the needs of thepopulation served; Must possess a Master’s degree with a license in a Mental Health field to include any of the following: PhD, Psychologist, Psychiatrist, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.  Candidate will be able to discuss a framework that is trauma-informed, possess high level of clinical skills, and clearances in accordance with PA Acts 33 & 80.

Intercommunity Action, located in Roxboroough/Manayunk area of Philadelphia, offers a trauma-informed community that believes the best approach to mental wellness and recovery includes the use of evidence-based practices by expert clinicians.
