West Coast Sales Director / VP

$100 Mil – National Leader – (Privately Held)

Compensation: Market

Location: Work from Home Office – travel to plant and customers as needed.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

 

Great Opportunity

 

Industrial Client – in STAFDA space – needs High Performing Sales Executive to take on professional challenge of supporting a new west coast manufacturing plant.

 

West Coast/ Western USA is booming with growth – and our client has made their investment in a new manufacturing plant and new manufacturing equipment.

 

If you want to utilize your prior sales management expertise – and take a $7 Mill territory to $20 – 30 Mil or more…

 

Build a network of manufactures reps and direct sales reps.

 

And be number one in the west coast (Western USA) -  possibly the country.

 

Report to CEO and SVP Sales – with oversight by Board of Directors.


We sell to electrical supply houses – general contractors & builders – new construction – infrastructure and manufacture long runs – metal products – construction products - building products in STAFDA space.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

*Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales program, customer service, project management, and sales office. Ten to twelve reps will directly or indirectly report to this position.

*Coordinates sales efforts by establishing markets, sales territories, quotas and goals.

*Assigns sales territory to sales representatives.

*Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and to assist sales personnel in promoting sales.

*Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates, and develops sales campaigns to accommodate goals of company.

*Reviews unprofitable items and develops plans with Sales and Operations to increase GP%.

*Represents company at trade association meetings / shows.

*Analyzes and controls expenditures of department to conform to budget.

*Provides input on product research and development to individual engineers as well as head of product development.

*Forecasts long-term and short-term business opportunities

*Prepares long-term sales strategies and strategic plans

*Prepares annual business plan.

*Plans and participates in overall division reviews to corporate personnel.

 
 

Job Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS:


*College Degree preferred BUT not required.

* Ten + years related experience selling and managing the sales dept. / team
