Business Owner - Take over existing agency

Currently we have various books of business for sale in the MN Metro area due to retirement.  Our District's businesses are located all throughout Minnesota, however we are also licensed to sell in Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Iowa. 

Highlighted Agencies currently for sale (Please inquire as these sell/change fast):
New Hope - 1,500 policies = Residual income of $160,000/year.   
Chaska - 750 policies = Residual income $75,000/year.  Turn-key office.  *$10,000 Bonus available
Lakeville - 650 policies = Residual income of $65,000/ year. *$10,000 Bonus Available

*$10,000 New office bonus is only available to acquisition agents purchasing less than 1,000 policies.

**For an estimate of potential income, new business generally is around $20,000/ year**
Please take into consideration the cost of an office and one hourly-paid staff person.

Taking over or purchasing an existing agency is an opportunity that few other companies offer. It provides lucrative financial incentives to capitalized, external candidates, so they can facilitate the purchase of service and commission rights from existing Farmers agencies.  They will immediately receive the residual commission that the agency is currently generating, in addition to bonuses offered on new business for up to 3 years.

Purchasing an agency is great for someone that is looking to immediately receive residual commission from existing clients, while at the same time build the book of business through new sales and marketing.  Our District team provides support during the transition from selling agent to the buying agent to ensure a smooth process. We will provide training for the buying agent (and their potential staff) to develop marketing plans to expand the agency, as well as retention plans to maintain the existing clients.

Training and Support:

While working with our team, you receive extensive sales training, product training, and support throughout your career. Our dedicated team helps to coach you through your start-up, by providing support from Product Specialists, Business Consultants, Marketing Managers, in addition to the District Manager and Territory team.

Program Includes:

Up to 3-years of bonus, in addition to residual commission

Quarterly bonuses

$10,000 office startup bonus - if buying less than 1,000 policies

Bilingual bonus of up to $6,000 -- both Agent and Staff

Achievement Clubs:

As a member of our team, we appreciate everything that our agents do to build their small business. The Achievement Club programs focus on rewarding agents for raising the bar and improving growth, productivity, cross-sell, customer experience and customer retention.  Agents will receive prizes, trips, and further incentives for reaching and maintaining these achievements.

Satisfactory results of background check

Minimum of $25,000 in seasoned liquid assets to be verified financial stability

Minimum of 1 licensed and appointed staff (we assist in the hiring and training)

Within the first 3 months you must receive your MN Insurance Licenses (we help you with this process)
