Job Requirements




1.  Job Title: Quality Control (QC) Inspector, Mechanical Level II or III

2.  Job Location:  Waynesboro, GA

3.  Desired Qualifications:  ANSI Level II or Level III Mechanical Quality Control Inspector Certification

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

      Technical Scope

  • o Current Stone & Webster Mechanical ANSI N45.2.6 certification preferred: prior (within 5 years) certification will be considered upon verification.
  • o Currently certified, able to certify, or prior (within 5 years) certification will be considered upon verification to the following Stone & Webster Level II ITM’s;
    • 315 Mechanical Equipment
    • 335 Mechanical Piping
    • 333 Mechanical Pressure Testing
  • o Proficient with Mechanical P&ID/Isometric Drawing interpretation
  • o Proficient with identifying valve & piping defects &/or discontinuities
  • o Proficient in Mechanical Torqueing Specifications & Procedural adherences
  • o Proficient in ASME III Code requirements
  • o Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint functions
  • o Familiar with Maximo and the work order planning process
  • o Proficient in documenting inspection results in a clear & concise manner
  • o Capable of bending, crawling, climbing, &/or twisting in a safe & productive manner
  • o Must possess a clear understanding of NQA-1 requirements & culture


      Other

  • o Willing to support (Night shift) as needed for testing and project inspections
  • o Support field inspections & document results as required by the Quality Program
  • o Work package review for insertion & completion of hold points
  • o Participate in acceptance testing, assessments & inspections supporting Mechanical systems
  • o Participate & lead efforts pertaining to Mechanical inspection planning


4.  Is this position supporting a Government Related Project? No


5.  Does this position require unescorted access to the protected area of a nuclear plant? Yes 

6.  Estimated Start Date: 8/26/19

7.  Estimated Duration of Work Assignment (should not exceed 1 year):  6 months
