The Sign-On Bonus amount for a Certified Counselor or Counselor is $2,000.
The Sign-On Bonus amount for a Registered Counselor or Counselor Trainee is $1,400.

Substance Abuse Counselor - MedMark – Oxford, AL
MedMark Treatment Centers is seeking experienced Substance Abuse Counselor at our Oxford/Center, AL locations.
At MedMark, we understand that addiction impacts not only the health and happiness of those facing addictions, but also the entire network of concerned friends, family members and loved ones. This is why we offer individual, group and family counseling that addresses the physical, mental and emotional needs of our patients.
Individual will conduct individual and group counseling sessions.
Coordinate care of assigned patients and present patient status and concerns with treatment team accordingly.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and the development and implementation of patient treatment plans according to State regulatory requirements.
Provide clinical services and patient care and education and opiate addiction counseling services to patients receiving methadone maintenance and detoxification treatment.
Experience in addiction counseling a plus.

Has a master’s Degree or above from an accredited college or university in psychology, social work, counseling, psychiatric nursing, or other behavioral health area with requisite course work equivalent to that of a degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or psychiatric nursing. Has successfully completed a clinical practicum, and/or holds a substance abuse counselor certification credential from the Alabama Association of Addiction Counselors,
National Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors,
Alabama Alcohol and Drug Association, or International
Certification and Reciprocity Consortium/Alcohol and Other Drug
Requirement: Currently licensed in the State of Alabama
