Business Development Advisor | Business Administration and Sales

The Position as a Business Development Advisor | Business Administration and Sales:

There is now an excellent opportunity to join our team, with a strong focus on winning new business and driving revenue through tactical planning. The position is ideal for a proven sales performer who is looking to work with a "major player." Ideally, the Business Development Advisor will display the ability to:

  • Work towards revenue targets and display a history of exceeding set targets
  • Work on a face to face level, qualify, negotiate and close deals
  • Work with C-level decision makers to identify the needs of the business
  • Represent the brand professionally and confidently, displaying a sense of gravitas and commercial acumen

Job Requirements

You will be expected to engage with clients face-to-face. Your priority will be to resolve client issues in a friendly, helpful manner and inquiries will need to be dealt with as quickly as possible. Other aspects of the job include:

  • Attending staff and client meetings.

  • Keeping up to date with current price tariffs and informing customers accordingly.

  • Tracking sales.

  • Developing customer base

  • Updating the customer database.

  • Upselling where applicable.

  • Customer retention.

  • New customer acquisition.

  • General admin.

  • Any other duties as required.

In Summary:

This is a commercially focused business development role, with a strong focus on B2C customer engagement. You'll be pitching business intelligence and information subscriptions to decision makers via a number of channels, requiring a strong understanding of the marketplace.
