Business Development Director- IT Services

Open expansion roles available in:

This is a critical account sales role for one of the larger IT integration companies in the country. You will have responsibility for selling to all large commercial entities in Texas. The role involves selling large scale, very complex IT solutions, software, hardware and managed services to this territory.

This is a solutions based sale. Every business consulting and IT consulting solution which is sold will be customized to the clients’ needs and specifications. This role involves selling to C level decision makers for this dominant integrator and reseller. This position will include being accountable for revenue targets, account planning, and relationship development.

 

We are seeking a mid level, experienced sales professional who has an established track record of selling complex solutions, and can generate new business from scratch by prospecting. This role demands that we find assertive overachievers with W-2’s the past 3 years exceeding 200K+.

 

This position will provide business development and customer relationship management for our Commercial Business Unit. Incumbent will own the management of accounts. This will include developing the strategy to continue the growth and delivery success. The candidate will use a well-established network of contacts within targeted groups to accomplish goals. This includes understanding the business initiatives, IT process, maintaining and establishing business relationships with key decision-makers, identifying and qualifying business opportunities, positioning for bidding, developing, and tracking a pipeline of targets, and working with the business unit to grow the accounts.

Experience and Required Skills:

4-5 years of experience in the IT integration industry. Proven experience in account management to the commercial industry required;  (This is Not a federally oriented position or customer base);  Prior experience in identifying, qualifying, pursuing, and winning new business consulting and IT consulting work as well as developing and managing targets and opportunities to support short-term and long-term growth objectives.

BS or BA degree preferred

Strong experience & track record of overachievement with selling complex IT and networking solutions, minimum of 4 years of experience.

Compensation:  This position offers a base salary with additional earnings of uncapped potential.

Top reps are making between $1MM AND $1.2MM, mid level reps are making between $250- $500k.  It is a leveraged plan.
