Talis Group's client is a highly successful, growing manufacturer with plants across the U.S. Company is hiring a Plant Manager to provide leadership to their manufacturing plant located in Evansville, IN area.  This position will oversee all plant operations including Production, Quality, Logistics, Maintenance and Safety. This plant operates multiple shifts in a highly competitive, fast-paced industry with a strong focus on Quality, Safety and Customer Service.  Culture encourages diversity and new ideas.  Position will require strong leader with coaching and problem-solving abilities.  Bonus, 401k and excellent benefit package offered for this position.


Highlighted Duties:

·Oversee all plant operations including Production, Quality, Maintenance, Logistics and Safety.

·Direct, mentor and develop all plant personnel including role definition, training and evaluations as needed

·Drive continuous improvement throughout the plant, ensuring labor cost and production metrics are met

·Recommend and oversee all Capital Investment Projects.

·Lead, direct and manage all safety initiatives in the plant, ensuring company and all regulatory policies are strictly maintained.

·Assist with development and manage implementation of business plan, budgets, and company goals

·Monitor and report sales, profit and labor numbers

·Work cross-functionally and with customers to ensure customer requirements are achieved

·Lead with consistency and accountability, setting expectations and providing follow-up

Highlighted Requirements:  

·Bachelor’s Degree preferred

·8+ years of progressive production management experience required

·Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and solve issues

·Strong Lean and Continuous Improvement skills

·Strong communication skills

·Proven success leading and developing employees

·Must be able to make quick decisions under stress

·Must be collaborative with good problem-solving skills
