As an Events Associate, you’ll play a vital role in all aspects of event planning and management.
About The Role
As our Brand Ambassador, you are responsible for:
- Promoting our mission by effectively communicating the organization's values, and goals to the public.
- Raising brand awareness through effectively publicizing our work, initiatives, and campaigns.
- Engaging with the public by interacting with people at events, community gatherings, and other outreach activities to share information and answer questions.
- Distribute materials such as brochures, flyers, and other promotional materials to inform people about the charity.
- Collecting donations as a way of assisting in fundraising efforts and encouraging support for the organization.
- Recruiting Volunteers to lend their time and skills for the charity's programs.
- Sharing Success Stories related to our work to inspire others.
- Using social media to support the charity's social media efforts by sharing posts, engaging with followers, and creating content (if necessary).
- Represent the organization professionally by helping us maintain a positive image at all times.
- Supporting Events through assisting with the setup, execution, and breakdown.
- Provide feedback to the organization about public responses
- Report on activities and interactions with people.
What We Are Looking For
To be an effective Brand Ambassador, you must possess these qualities:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is acceptable.
- Any experience in volunteering, customer service, sales, or marketing is preferred.
- A genuine interest and enthusiasm for charity work.
- Outstanding verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- An approachable, friendly, and confident demeanor with the ability to initiate conversations and build rapport easily.
- Dependable in fulfilling assigned tasks and representing the organization positively.
- Comfort and in speaking publicly to share information about our work.
- Willing to work in various setups, including community events, outreach programs, and fundraising drives.
- Can work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with other volunteers and staff members.
- Possesses great time management skills and the ability to follow schedules.
- Proficient with email and basic office software, as needed for reporting or communication.
- Willing to work flexible and, sometimes, long hours..
