Fast-growing and fast paced Medical Device Company looking for a qualified candidate with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a shop manufacturing environment.
Essential duties/responsibilities: CNC milling, set-up, and operation. 4 & 5 axis preferred, but not required. Editing and or creating simple CNC programs or adjusting existing codes as needed to produce quality medical parts. Oversee daily operations and work with additional Setup/Operators in order to maintain daily production. Perform daily machine startup and shutdown procedures. Maintain quality inspection, c heck paperwork and production schedules. Position requires standing for long periods of time and being able to lift 15-25lbs on a regular basis.
Knowledge and Skills: Minimum of two (2) years of experience with CNC Machines. Experience with machining tools/inserts and knowledge of calibration. A basic understanding of math, measuring instruments, and computers. Must have basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and the ability to work independently.
