Specific duties in this financial management role include:
Prepare monthly and quarterly management and investor filings to facilitate in-depth internal/external review
Perform research accounting literature and apply technical standards
Prepare technical accounting position memoranda
Prepare purchase price allocations
Responsible for post-close technical accounting considerations
Maintain balance sheet reconciliations for technical and non-routine account
Assist with external service providers to the Finance and Accounting department
Advise the M&A transaction team on technical accounting considerations, financial diligence, purchase accounting valuation
We are looking for an Technical Accounting Manager who combines a solid background in accounting and strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. You should be detail-oriented and have sound judgment and strong reasoning skills, as well as good analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Specific requirements for the Accounting Manager include:
Public/Big 4 accounting experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP
Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
