
Billing Manager (Roanoke, VA)
Commonwealth Care of Roanoke, Inc. (CCR, Inc.) has a career opportunity for a dynamic Billing Manager to supervise the overall billing/cash posting of the Home Office Insurance Billing Staff and assuring that policies and procedures are followed.
CCR, Inc. manages twelve health and rehabilitation centers across the Commonwealth of Virginia. Successful service excellence candidates will:
● Must be able to conduct meetings and in-service training sessions.
● Must be able to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
● Ability to lead and direct billing staff and processes in order to enhance outcomes
● Must have analytical skills that result in being able to reconcile and clear balances of patient accounts.
● Must be able to relate to families, residents, and co-workers in a professional and friendly manner.
● Must be a problem solver, critical thinker, and motivator.
● Must be a team player and be able to work with department heads and other personnel at the Centers and outside the Centers as well as home office staff to obtain information needed for billing.
● Must be able to work with Managed Care Insurances, Medicare, Medicaid, state and local officials when needed to resolve payment issues.
● Promote and demonstrate a culture of Service Excellence.
● Perform other duties as assigned.

EOE & Drug Free
● Extensive billing knowledge of Managed Care, Medicare, ACO, Bundled Payments, Medicaid Managed Care, Coinsurance, Worker’s Compensation, and Liability Insurance – SNF billing experience desired but will consider hospital billing experience.
● 5 years Management and Supervisory Experience required and prefer in a central billing office but other settings may be considered.
● Extensive knowledge of appeals process.
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills; both written and verbal.
● Experience using Microsoft office programs (Word, Excel, Adobe and PowerPoint).
● Must be flexible, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and be able to make effective decisions and work as part of a service excellence team.
