ACCOUNTABILITIES Prepares financial and business related analyses, research and risk assessment in such areas as financial and expense performance, rate of return*** depreciation, revenue recognition, working capital and investments. Prepares forecasts and analyzes trends in manufacturing, sales, finance, general business conditions, competitors and other related areas within the industry. Utilizes computer systems to compile and prepare reports, graphs and charts of data developed. Assists in the development of business policies, conducts special financial and business related studies, and cooperates with other departments in the preparation of analyses. Builds and develops relationships with key stakeholders and customers in order to achieve business goals. Analyzes and evaluates financial plans, including actual and planned results. Ensures corporate compliance to government regulations and internal controls. RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinates the financial planning process for a business unit Assists management in developing budgets and understanding profitability of the business Assists management on strategic initiatives Provides training to lower level analysts

Description Comments:

Investment Operations

A critical component for Client Technologies Global Alliances business consists of managing marketing investments that engage customers and drive demand for Client Technologies solutions. As the investment operations advisor for the Global Alliances marketing team, you will be responsible for managing E2E budget planning, process and overall operation, including investment measurement and analysis to support data-driven management decision making. This position will oversee the Global Alliance investments at large, while providing guidance on KPIs and metrics for partner BDF investments. Once a framework is built for capturing these investments, this person will be responsible for driving spend analysis and insights on future investments with management teams. To succeed within this role, the ideal candidate must have a solid background in budget/ finance, project management, experience driving teams and the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

Work with cross-functional teams to build out the proper BDF planning processes and reporting requirements

Lead the budget process efforts working with planning team to ensure marketing plan aligns with BU guidance and finance targets

Lead process of vendor funding and support compliance reviews

Approve purchase order requests on behalf of executive director

Create & deliver training roadshows for in-region stakeholders to ensure all processes are understood and being adhered to

Coach team members on a 1:1 basis on the use of budgeting and vendor funding tools

Manage overall inputs from budget/ planning team and provide weekly analysis and insights

Identify and work to solve any process gaps through effective communication & collaboration with planning team, vendor funding and/ or marketing teams

Gather all recorded financial metrics and build dashboards based on actual spend vs. forecasted spend, assisting with bi-quarterly planning needs, weekly and ad-hoc reporting

Interface with global & business unit leaders & stakeholders to collect inputs for outlook process

Set up and manage QBRs to review with stakeholders spend management, analysis and insights

Mentor and communicate frequently with team members to aid them in career growth/development

Requirements:

4-6 years experience in finance / budgeting / accounting

+2 years experience leading cross functional teams

Bias for action and results

Ability to foster strong relationships and work within a highly matrixed environment

Prior experience in supporti ng and providing feedback to marketing leaders

Crisp communication skills for use with all levels of the organization
