Purpose: Quality Assurance is required to conduct quality assurance audits of production assuring company standards are maintained and product integrity is preserved.
Shift: 3rd - Must be flexible to work any shift
Reports to: QA Manager and QA Lead
Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor production process;
Production Start up and Batch Record inspections;
Knowledge of industry standard gram weight, neck, capacity, body dimension specifications, AQL Classifications and Definition of Plastic Bottle Defects;
Awareness of GMP;
Testing audits and identifying, documenting, segregating nonconforming product;
Observing safety standards;
Corrective and preventative actions;
Basic knowledge of QMS Simpletrack system;
Create and maintain product quality history records for future reference
Other duties assigned by quality manager and QA Lead.
Effective and professional communication;
Operate test devices;
Basic mathematical skills;
Attention to detail;
Education / Experience
High School diploma or equivalent
Leadership and organizational skills
Must have solid reading, writing and comprehension in order to understand instructions, short correspondence and memos.
Strong public speaking skills are needed to effectively present information to customers and employees.
