Our client, a large Public Agency in San Bernardino is seeking qualified Teacher Aides level II for long and short term pre-school projects. These positions are located in San Bernardino on with East and West locations for the Preschool Services departments. This position is responsible for assisting a lead teacher in a variety of functions, and may include observing, supervising and planning activities such as story-telling and art projects as well as other organizational duties and child care. This role will require a great deal of patience and being able to assist children in a positive manner.
The Teacher Aide II position has a Monday thru Friday schedule from 7:30am to 4:30pm and will require a background screen, a Food Handler Permit from the County of San Bernardino, a finger print/Live Scan clearance, a TB & Immunizations (Measles and Pertussis), a drug screen and an Annual Flu Shot or Waiver. The following is a brief description of the role responsibilities.
We are seeking candidates with good work ethics, a professional and friendly manner, excellent organizational and communication skills, who are capable of working independently or in a team environment with proven ability to work with children responsibly and positively. Below you will note a few of the requirements along with the rest of the details for this position.
° Associate Degree (or Higher) in Child Development or Early Childhood Education. An Alternate degree may be substituted if you have 6 semester/9 quarter units in Child Development or Early Childhood Education coursework and a San Bernardino County Food Handlers Permit obtained through San Bernardino County Public Health.
° An Associate Teracher Permit (or higher) and a Food Handlers Permit Obtained through San Bernardino County Public Health.
