Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:  This position is responsible for managing a pipeline of nationwide loan closing & loan modifications and preparing all vehicle titling documentation for each.  This position works closely with Lenders & Lending Assistants, Servicing, Liquidation, and the Payoffs department, as well as directly with borrowers and county/state offices.  The primary job responsibilities include organizing and generating all documentation in titled assets, following up on rejected applications and title transfers, and ensuring ongoing compliance with all applicable regulations.


  • Monitor and assist with weekly pipeline management to ensure closings, modifications, and releases are processed in a timely manner, reporting on metrics.

  • Handle incoming titling requests.

  • Maintain excellent communication and effective partnering with the lending staff, Servicing, Liquidation, Legal and Payoffs department.  Providing training and resources as needed.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in providing guidance in the development, evaluation, and implementation of processing system enhancements or process improvements.

  • Balance and monitor the GL and Expense accounts, reconciling as required.

  • Determine and accurately prepare all titling documentation required in accordance with legal, regulatory, SBA and Bank policies/requirements.

  • Research municipality-specific titling requirements and coordinate with local government entities to ensure a streamlined process and/or transfer or ownership.

  • Works with Loan Officers, Lending Assistants, Servicing, and Liquidation, to prepare documentation and correct deficiencies that may exist related to titled assets.

  • Release security interests in titled assets relating to loan modifications and paid off loans.

  • Maintain a working knowledge of all legal and regulatory compliance issues as they pertain to this position.

  • Loss prevention and security as applicable for this position

  • Complete required training as needed.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements


  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. 

  • Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time, twist, bend, sit, walk use hands to twist, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, such as computer mouse, computer keyboard, calculator, stapler, telephone, staple puller, etc., reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, talk or hear.

  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.


  • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical program; and/or 2 years related experience; or equivalent combination or education and experience.

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

  • Ability to develop policies and procedures and communicate effectively

  • Highly organized with effective time management

  • Strong computer skills

  • Exemplary customer service skills

  • High attention to detail, and the ability to be flexible/adaptable to changing job requirements and responsibilities

  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure
