
Our client is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (rubber/industrial). Our well established client has a national reputation for producing quality calendared, molded and extruded rubber and elastic products for apparel, healthcare, sporting and other commercial and consumer goods. Candidates must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder to be considered for this opportunity.
· Contact potential customers to establish rapport and arrange meetings to present existing product portfolio and explore new product categories
· Research organizations and individuals to find new market segments, new customers and new product development opportunities
· Work with product development team to conduct VOC (voice of the customer) sessions with customers to accelerate launch of new products
· Drive sales growth for existing and new products at existing and new customers
· Develop quotes and proposals for clients
· Lead commercial negotiations with customers to close sales opportunities
· Attend conferences, meetings and industry events and networking to create actionable leads and opportunities
· B.S. in a technical field or business degree required (MBA preferred)
· 10+ years of progressive sales and marketing experience with medical disposables or related products
· Significant experience in the marketing and sales of medical disposables in the North American market
· Experience working directly with large purchasing organizations at customers and distributors
· Experience with new product development and introducing new products to customers
· Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
· Ability to manage complex task and multi-task
· Strong organizational skills
· Experience with basic IT tools such as MS Office and CRM/ERP systems
· Motivated and self-directed individual with an ability to adapt to uncertainty and deliver on growth expectations
