Automotive Service & Parts Director


The Joe Maus Auto Group, located in Charlotte, is looking for an experienced Automotive Service & Parts Director to lead their dynamic service team.

The Service & Parts Director is responsible for all operations within the service department - from hiring and managing technicians and service advisors, to customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Oversee all aspects of Fixed Operations Departments
  • Drive business growth, retention, and profitability 
  • Oversee and ensure employee and customer satisfaction 
  • Must have proven success dispatching and coordinating workflow 
  • Oversee the performance of Service Advisors, Parts Advisors and technicians
  • Manage a safe, clean, organized, and hazard free workplace
  • Develop strategies to increase service and parts revenue and maximize the opportunities for your team
  • Manage expenses
  • Hire, train, develop, and retain technicians, advisors, parts advisors, porters, cashiers and support staff
  • Market and promote fixed operations department
  • Oversee and support advisor/client communication to ensure exceptionally positive dealership              experiences 
  • Take ownership in client or vehicle resolution concerns and provide high level resolution
  • Hold effective meetings with management, technicians, and advisors

Job Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of successive dealership management experience required
  • Previous experience in same or similar role required
  • Familiarity with all departments of Fixed Operations (Service, Parts and Collision)
  • Technical automotive knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to manage others
  • Organized and friendly personality
  • Dealership experience required
