Job Description: The Business Assistant Manager is an entry/junior level role that serves as an integral, team member across multiple client accounts: developing, and supporting our Event Marketing Division. This is a vital role- as you work alongside the Operations Manager to assist in creating, establishing, editing, and finalizing the marketing materials and advertising needs of our clients. This person has exceptional problem-solving abilities, with great organizational skills. If you can meet deadlines, and execute a variety of tasks with success- we encourage you to apply!

Assistant Manger Duties:

  • On occasion, accompany the Director and other Sales Managers on calls and appointments – observing and actively participating in meetings

  • Data entry and management of appropriate documentation in CRM system for prospects/clients as well as customer workflow

  • Completion of quote calculations, rate sheets, order commitments, and sales

  • Communication on behalf of the Account Executives

  • Review sales collateral with marketing team to ensure current enhancements in our service programs are adequately expressed

  • Assist with planning and preparation of regular sales training sessions

  • Assist with planning and preparing for client visits

  • Direct and lead a small team (5-10) people with proper training and coaching

Position Basic Requirements:

  • High school graduate/GED required, please note if you studied the following in higher education: Business, Management, Marketing, etc.

  • Possess strong strategic thinking skills and can solve difficult tasks

  • Great communication skills (written, oral and listening)

  • Prior customer service skills required (minimum 1+ years)

  • Knowledge of marketing is essential, but not required

  • Excellent in-person presence

  • Prior management experience is essential, but not required

  • Must be detailed-oriented, and possess the ability to complete tasks by a given deadline

  • Excellent conflict resolution and organizational skills required

  • Must be able to commute to Downtown Cleveland
