Talis Group is a recruiting company assisting our client in hiring an Administrative Support/Operations Manager on a TEMPORARY basis.  Never worked with a recruiting company? You're in good hands.  By working with us, we can help you get noticed.  We have the inside scoop and the contacts to get you in front of employers currently hiring. Talis Group's client is a financial investment firm.  This temporary position may lead to a direct hire for the right individual. Candidate must be professional, detailed, computer savvy, organized.  An offer will be contingent on an acceptable criminal background check.  $25-$30/hour.

ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT HIGHLIGHTED DUTIES

  • Accurately administering investment activities and transactions including executing securities trades, client account onboarding and maintenance, document preparation transaction processing and verification in relevant systems/applications.
  • Performing operational and administrative functions for client-related requests such as check and documents requests, wiring funds, providing account information, researching and resolving issues.
  • Acting as the point of contact for clients to assist with requests and liaise between clients and the appropriate investment product vendors to resolve problems that arise over account transaction
  • Possessing a comprehensive understanding of the client/family relationships within the assigned book of business.
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial plans for clients.
  • Conducting research on investments and other financial information.
  • Processing and reviewing quarterly billing of accounts.
  • Adhering to compliance regulations and maintain strict client confidentiality expectations.
  • Providing administrative support, including client meeting scheduling and preparation, electronic file management, mailings, operating a multi-line phone system, ordering office supplies, managing vendors, equipment and computer maintenance, and opening and closing of the office, and other duties as assigned.
  • Assisting in the hiring and supervision of employees.
  • Providing sales, service and execution support for new and ongoing client relationships.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably with one to two years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • General understanding of the investment brokerage industry, investment products, and securities regulations preferred.
  • Ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy and work under deadline pressure.
  • Must be customer-centered with a willingness to go above and beyond in providing the best service to our clients.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and maintain confidential \ information.
  • Must be dependable and possess a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, time management and problem-solving skills essential as well as a strong aptitude for math.
  • Proficient with Adobe Acrobat, all Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, web-based research tools and web applications.
