Our client in the higher education space in Herndon, VA is looking for Administrative Assistant/ Bookkeeper for a two month contract.
What you will do:
● Invoicing customers
● Processing invoices for payments
● Reconciling credit card statements
● Posting payroll data
● Preparing reports
● Reconciling accounts
● Processing accounts receivable
● Other duties as assigned (mainly HR related)
● Proven bookkeeping experience
● Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
● Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
● Proficiency in Quickbooks and MS Office
● Willingness to learn our procedures and processes especially those involving implementation and project management
● Strong attention to details and ability to multitask
