Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for a Lead Equipment Operator at our Montgomery County Grinding Operations facility in Derwood, MD.
Graduation from a standard high school or GED plus three years of experience operating heavy equipment. Must have a valid driver's license with less than 5 points. May require a valid Commercial Driver's License.

Operates a variety of equipment, such as loaders, dozers, excavators, forklifts, trucks, tub grinders, balers, skid-loaders, conveyor lines, mowers and screening equipment.
Assures all equipment fluid levels are in proper working condition and that all safety devices are in the equipment prior to operation.
Performs minor maintenance and repair of equipment on a daily basis including cleaning, greasing and fueling.
Communicates the necessity for proper and timely maintenance of all equipment to maintenance and/or management personnel.
Performs routine manual labor tasks such as grounds and facility maintenance, loading and delivering supplies and materials, and cleaning.
