Job Description

Completes various Facilities projects and assignments on schedule and within budget in order to provide reliable facilities services and ensure quality results at a reasonable cost.        

Essential Functions

•Develops and prepares bid package documents to include drawings, specifications, details, schedules, bills of materials, etc. in order to obtain the best contractor for the given project.


•Develops and prepares estimates, budgets, schedules, and feasibility studies for projects and presents the information to customers and management.


•Designs and develops various aspects of ongoing projects as they pertain to Facilities, including performing analyses, designing and implementing system enhancements, maintaining budgets, monitoring safety and security issues, etc.


•Prepares various types of reports and attends various types of meetings based upon Facilities projects.


•Monitors various aspects of contractors work, such as quality, safety, schedules, etc.


•Maintains an appropriate level of conventionality and conformance in regard to the corporate culture as expressed in the Associate Handbook.  Relates well with others, including as appropriate, peers, supervisor, subordinates, customers and suppliers. Maintains good attendance and assumes appropriate role(s) when working in a team environment. Responds appropriately to unexpected and/or continuing situations which develop in the work environment.


•Maintains appropriate expertise to ensure an effective technical level by

Job Requirements

0-2 years experience in project construction management, bid package development, design/specification development with architect/ engineering firm.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering


•Knowledge of Facilities policies, procedures, and terms.

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills and good presentation skills.


•Ability to coordinate and monitor a high level of activity as demonstrated under a variety of conditions and constraints.


•Ability to comprehend complex instructions and respond effectively and perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly.


•Ability to coordinate eyes, hands, and fingers rapidly and accurately.


•Ability to coordinate the eyes and both hands and feet in response to visual stimuli.


•Knowledge of appropriate office software applications.
