We are seeking a Healthcare Customer Service Representative in the Philadelphia, PA area. This is a contract position with a reputable and large Healthcare organization. Job Title: Healthcare Customer Service Representative
Type: Contract running through the end of February, there are multiple spots available so some will extend further or any turn into a permanent opportunity
Hours: Training, Monday - Friday, 8:30AM - 5:30PM. After training is completed you will work an 8 hour shift in between the hours of 8:30AM - 7PM
Compensation: $14 - 16.19 (depending on experience
Customer Service Representative work under direct supervision in a call center environment, and are responsible for responding in a timely, professional and courteous manner to all customer inquiries
This includes member and/or provider phone calls or correspondence regarding benefit, eligibility or customer issues
Follows internal processes and procedures to ensure all activities are performed in accordance with departmental and company policies and procedures
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 1 year experience taking in bound/out bound customer calls
Excellent judgement and decision making skills in dealing with customer complaints and sensitive requests
Ability to use PC applications in a MS Windows base
1 year prior claims and or customer service experience preferred
Prior experience in the healthcare or managed care industry preferred
Minimum 45 wpm typing skill preferred
